Here are some useful tips for getting the most out of your library:
How to get a library card:
- Effective January 1st, 2012 you are required to show your library card to check out materials from the library. Please have it handy when you visit us! If you need a card, don’t worry; it’s easy to get one! Just come in with your photo ID and fill out a registration card. Your card will be issued on the spot! Kids under 18 must have a parent with them.
How to request a title through interlibrary loan:
- Click the Catalog link in the right-hand sidebar of our Home Page.
- Find the item you want to reserve and click the Request link.
- Enter your library card number and your PIN.
- Choose a pick-up location and click Submit, then click Start Over or Regular Display
How to check your record and/or renew a book:
- Click the Catalog link in the right-hand sidebar of our Home Page.
- Click the My Account link (the left-most item in the menu bar at the top of the page)
- Enter your library card number and your PIN
- You are now logged in. Modify your information, check status of reservation requests, or renew items as necessary.
